Gina & Dave live in North Carolina, so their wedding day was the first time we met.  What a sweet couple.  Congratulations you two!  We had a great time!  Lots of great images.  These are some of my favorites from the reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman…

The groom and his daughter danced...and I cried.

These raspberry tarts were soooo yummy!

The bride and her nephew...adorable.

Okay, so I know I say this all the time, but you’ve gotta agree with me – I’m so lucky to have the cutest couples ever and these two are no exception.  We were racing to beat the rain when we me Kristyn & Andy at the Flower Garden in Millcreek.  But I’m almost glad that the threat was there, because I LOVE the shots we got with the umbrella at the end of their session.  So fun!  Thanks you two.  We really enjoyed walking around the gardens with you.

P.S. Your dogs are adorable, too – thanks for showing us pics.  🙂

I’ve been getting this question quite a bit lately from newly engaged couples, so I thought I’d write a quick little post on this.

The big question – how early should we book?  The answer is definitely – it’s never too early to secure your date with your favorite vendors – whether it’s the caterer or the photographer.  If the quality is good, the best of the vendors are the first to get booked, especially for the popular dates.  From my experience, I’ve had couples secure my services from six months up to 2 years in advance.  Because of my family and because I prefer quality work over quantity, you won’t find me booking as many weddings as I possibly can.  I do limit the number I do each year, so that my business does not take over the importance of family and so my quality doesn’t suffer.  So if the question has arisen – “when should I book Michelle?” – my answer would be that 2011 is now a little over 50% full, so call to set up your consultation today!  Thanks so  much!
