May 5th was a pretty special day – the super moon, cinco de mayo and Deanna & Josh’s union.  Beautiful persons both inside and out…as a couple – they are truly glowing.  I have loved working with them.  Their wedding was so touching and a lot of fun.  Some of my favorite images ever have come from their day.  You need to catch the video below, to be sure to see everyone’s reaction when they first saw Deanna in her gown (especially her and her mom looking in the mirror…tears).  Plus the most awesome group shot.  Most of you already know the back-story, if you follow me on Facebook.  The adorable ring bearer and flower girl misunderstood when I shouted out to the bride and groom, “okay, now kiss!”.  The results were perfect – lol.  And David’s capture of the guy’s with the super moon at the end of the night was surreal.

Thank you, Deanna & Josh, for including us as part of your day.  It has been both an honor and a pleasure and I feel like I’ve walked away with some new friends.  🙂

Be sure to check out the video for lots more!

Sorry for opening the flood gates on the blog today!  Since it’s the hubby’s birthday (Happy Birthday, my love! 🙂 ), this will be the final post for this afternoon.  So much to catch you all up on!  You gotta see Kali + Bryan’s engagement session.  The wedding was just last weekend and since they flew in from Colorodo – we shot the engagement the week before that!  Two incredibly creative and sweet souls here and I can’t wait to share the wedding images.  But for now…here are some of my favorites from the engagement!

I love Kennywood Park!!  So how fun when Jessie & Matt decided that they wanted to go here for their Engagement Session!  🙂  Rides, cotton candy and lots of lights when the sun went down.  Jessie and Matt were up for anything!  Seriously, so fun – I can’t wait to go back this summer for the day!!  Their wedding is going to be in the Fall and I’m sure it will be as sweet and as fun as their engagement session was.  Really looking forward to it!  🙂

I met Talley and Steve at gorgeous Westminster College for their engagement.  It turned out to be graduation day, so we had to avoid a few spots on campus.  Pretty convenient for us, though – there were golf carts being driven all over the place and we were able to hitch a ride back  to our cars at the end of the session (only to discover that the keys were locked in mine…doh).  🙂  Since these two live in Florida, this was our first time meeting.  I had a great time walking the grounds with them and I’m looking forward to their wedding, which is coming up soon in July!

Believe it or not, of all the newborns I’ve shot so far…this was my very first baby girl. 🙂 I was so excited for a girly session and brought so many different props – I even forgot to use a few (I had the cutest hairbands in my newborn box of goodies and totally forgot!) Oh well…another girly session is coming very soon! Baby B was an absolute doll. I shot her parents’ wedding, so I already knew how great they were. And her big brother was super proud. Check out some of the sweetness below…
