A little about me…

I live with my amazing husband, David, who has been my best friend and companion for more than twenty years.  He has a great eye and assists me often.  We have an even more amazing little girl/ball of fire who provides constant inspiration.  We have three dogs – our furry babies – all rescues.  Some totally random facts about me – If I see an animal on the road that looks lost, I have a really hard time just driving by.  I’m a Beatles fanatic.  I love to dance, but I’m not very good at it.  I shop (usually til I drop).  I’m nuts about anything vintage.  Cool pieces of jewelry are my favorite things to accessorize with (especially earrings and bracelets). I never pass on dessert…ever.  I am a total sucker for romance and I will probably cry at your wedding.

A little about my education…

Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a camera in my hand (thanks, Grandpa!).  When I was ready to take that love of photography further, the New York Institute of Photography was where I received my professional training.  I have a business degree from Youngstown State University (narrowly escaping a career as an accountant).  I’m a Certified Professional Photographer and a member of the PPA and continue my education through seminars and competitions.  I have been privileged to teach photography to youths in summer camp and thrilled to have my photos published both locally and nationally.

A little about my passion…

Photography is a magical thing.  It lets us communicate emotion, light, color, texture – all by pressing a button.  I love the thrill of looking through the viewfinder and releasing the shutter at the most perfect moment.  And I especially love the reactions of my clients when they discover the magic of photography – that this little contraption in my hands has captured their memories.  Unique, natural, artistic, timeless and full of emotion.

A little about your wedding…

The joy…  the passion… the beginning a lifetime. This is a moment in time that cannot just be recorded. Your wedding day has a spirit of its own, made up of love and beauty and humor.  The photographer must first be an artist to see the moments in time that embrace the soul of this day… and then a craftsman to capture these visions in color, light, and mood.  Your wedding day will be anything and everything but ordinary… your wedding photographer must also be extraordinary.  With me, you receive the promise to rise above the ordinary demands, a commitment of far more time and effort than an ordinary photographer can provide.  This special day with so much beauty, emotion, and detail deserves to be seen through the eyes of an artist and immortalized with timeless imagery.
