Oh how I’ve missed blogging!  I have been so busy playing catch up (and still am) that I haven’t taken much time to post some of my favorite images.  I’m going to pick up where I left off and start out with two of my favorite people…

So my baby sister is getting married this year!!!  To make that even better – her future husband was already a really good friend of our family (they met right here in our home)!  So take two of my favorite people – add in a really great location that I’ve never shot at before and a really fun day with delicious brunch and beers following.  = Best engagement session ever.  🙂

So super excited for the wedding in July!  We are all in it (me, D & Olivia!), so my photography that day will be minimal, but I can’t wait to meet Veronica Varos in person.  I have much respect for her work was really excited when these two went by recommendation to hire her!

Amanda & Brent’s wedding is coming up this weekend, so here is a look at their beautiful engagement in the park!  They told me they didn’t know how to dip, but I think they were lying…. 🙂

All of these beautiful couples make my job so easy.  🙂  Look for Miranda & Brian’s wedding on the blog soon, too!  Here are some of my favorites from their engagement in the park!

Can’t wait to shoot Nikki & Jon’s wedding next year!  The detail from the sounds of it are going to be awesome!  And they are so sweet together.  🙂  They love playing Scrabble and during a game is how Jon proposed, so we headed out to the park with a little bit of a theme close to sunset.  The sun hanging low towards the end of their session made for some really beautiful flare shots!

I can hardly wait for the wedding of Meagan & Adam.  Not only did they choose an amazing location – Powers Auditorium, but they have nothing but style.  Although it seemed to be completely by accident that we ended up in front of Saks on Fifth – I have to think fate was also involved, because they fit in perfect tucked inside the brass revolving doors and it ended up being one of my favorite images ever.  What a fun day it was!  At least four times, I was asked who they were by strangers – as if they were pro models or movie stars!  Thank you, Meagan & Adam!  I have to agree – you two should be in a magazine.  🙂
