Kaila and Andrew will soon be celebrating the first anniversary of their wedding last summer.  .This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten to work with the Nelko family and I couldn’t have been more honored.  Plus it’s always a treat to get to work with a family, again.  I’ve had such a blast with them both times.

Kaila was the very first person to meet me in my new studio almost 2 1/2 years ago.  I was giving away a gift certificate that day for my open house and she ended up being the winner.  Bonus!  Check out their gorgeous day below.

Happy Anniversary to them!!

It’s that time of year, again!  Time to play catch up and shamefully (or maybe thankfully, for being so busy) I am just now getting to blog Anastasia + Jim’s greek orthodox beautiful wedding from June!  With Anastasia’s father officiating, the ceremony and day was so rich with tradition, it was unbelievable.  It was so touching watching them exchange their vows.  I can only imagine what it must be like to not only give your daughter away, but also be the one to unify her with her new husband.  Fr. Andrew kept it together – I would’ve been a mess.  🙂  Angie & I loved capturing every moment.  So awesome.  After the service, we headed to New Castle for formals (and lots of laughs) at Cascade and entertainment and really yummy food at The New Englander afterward.  Still thinking about those caramel cookies…lol.

Check out some of the gorgeousness below.  It was truly an honor to be a part of it – not to mention – a ton of fun.  🙂  Thank you so much, Anastasia & Jim!!

This past Fall, I got to shoot my very first Big Fat Greek Wedding and it was awesome.  Stellanie & Brian’s wedding was full of tradition.  The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was just one huge party (in the very hall named for Stellanie’s grandfather)!  I loved the dancing…there was a lot of it and they throw money (how can you go wrong?).  🙂 Some really great images from their day.  I think that some of my favorite, though, are the ones with their parents and grandparents looking on at the two of them.  Maybe because I am a parent, these really touched me.  You can see the pride and love in their eyes.

Thank you so much, Stellanie & Brian!  It was honor being there to capture your day (and the Day After session that followed in Cleveland…coming in it’s own blog post soon!).

Lots more in the video, so take a minute to check it out!

Winter weddings.  Cold?  Yes.  Beautiful?  Absolutely.  Emily was stunning and her bridesmaids’ dresses (on seven gorgeous bridesmaids) were definitely my very favorite of the year.  The guys were equally gorgeous and fun – which made our job so easy.  Emily & Gino are two super sweet and thoughtful people.  They didn’t want their bridal party to get cold, so we had some fun inside with the group at the Poland Library and then heated things up outside with Emily and Gino by themselves.  These images were well worth bearing the cold and I think I could say I loved every single one of them.  It wasn’t just the atmosphere or the beautiful architecture.  It’s the way these two look at each other.  They are so in love and it couldn’t be more obvious.

An awesome party afterward at The Lake Club (seriously, the best place for a reception – I love shooting there) with Rudy and the Professionals.  Couldn’t have ended the year any better.  🙂

Emily's niece was the flower girl and so adorable.

Emily's dress was breath-taking.

Posing for grandma.

Grandpa saved the day on helping the littlest one down the aisle. How cute are they? 🙂

One of my favorites.

Gino's dad is a singer and sang their first dance. Such a beautiful moment.

A serenade from Rudy. 🙂

The parent dances were very sweet.

Congratulations and thanks so much, Emily & Gino!  It was an honor to be a part of your day.
