I loved all of the detail and work (the umbrella dance was great!) that went into Erica & Mike’s wedding.  It was absolutely gorgeous and a photographer’s dream!  Check out Erica’s dress – the bottom actually comes off to reveal a short party dress beneath it.  The coolest dress ever.  Oh, if I could do it all over, again…so many ideas from all of my awesome couples.  I would have loved a dress like that and the birdcage veil she wore to go with it.  A special surprise is coming soon that involves their day that I am so excited about!!  I’ll reveal it in a couple of months when it goes to print (…did I say too much?) 🙂

The first look...

Both of these were David's shots! My assistant is becoming a total pro. 🙂

On a rainy day, it's good to come prepared!

Probably one of my favorite groomsmen shots ever...these guys rocked it.

Back to the Synagogue to get married!

Where they met in college, while living in the same apartment complex. 🙂

Heating things up on the Hot Metal Bridge.

Their choreographed opening dance was killer.

It’s impossible to fit in everything from the day into this short little video, but I tried! Be sure to take a few minutes to check it out.

Congratulations, Erica & Mike and thank you so much for submitting your images to Pittsburgh Magazine.  It was an honor to be there to document all of the joy of your day.  We had an awesome time with you and your friends.

Vacation in August was awesome!  Now that the weather is really getting chilly, it’s nice to sit back and think about the beach.  We spent it with my brother and his extended family and I got in a few sessions while we were down there!  First some fun stuff from our trip…

Not how I usually process, but this boardwalk pic was just begging for a vintage touch.

This candy shop smelled amazing!

David & Liv stopped to pose for me at Penny Lane Mall.

More candy apples. This time at Serendipity Restaurant.

David took this while Livy and I were on the dock.

and my nephews…you might remember William and James from this session last year.

Teddy Bear Picnic

My adorable nephews.

I'm one and I'm gorgeous!

Love the face his making in the one on the right and his hat is awesome. 🙂

One gorgeous day in August, on a beautiful campus in New Wilmington – Meghan and Brock were married…and they lived happily ever after.  I don’t doubt that for a second.  I am so thankful to have been a part of their day (and so thankful to Kristyn & Andy for sending them my way).  They are awesome.

I love that Meghan decided to do this. It reminds guests to enjoy the service.

Loved this group!

Hysterical...

Loooovvve this one...

Meghan & Brock’s video with much more…

Congratulations, Meghan & Brock!  We had such a great time with you and your family/friends!  Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day.  It was truly an honor.

Melissa & Ryan were married on one very rainy (but very lucky, as they say) day in June.  Because of the rain, The Lake Club’s beautiful view was left mostly wet and muddy.  A Day After session (on a particularly gorgeous day) definitely made up for the images we were just unable to get on their wedding day, without getting the bride and groom dirty and damp.

Check out some of the gorgeousness below…

Finally getting caught up enough to do what usually sits on the back-burner (but is one of my absolute favorite ways to share) – blogging.  In July, my friends – Donnie & Tasha tied the knot and I am so excited that I was able to be a part of it.  I’ve know Donnie for a long time now and to look at him during the ceremony and see how happy he was, it was awesome.  Tasha is a sweetheart and I wish them both many, many years of happiness!

Check out the video to see even more, especially the photo booth fun!

Thanks you two for asking me to capture your day.  It was an honor!
