I have to repeat what I said about Kali + Bryan in their engagement post a month ago, because it’s just so fitting – they are two incredibly creative and sweet souls.  So many details  and tons of work went into their wedding day.  They even designed their own cake (which Clarencedale Cake geniously brought to life for them).  They are pretty obviously crazy about each other and they know how to have fun.  The images went from breathtaking to hysterical.  Angie and I spent most of the day either laughing or crying (see Bryan’s face when he first sees Kali coming down the aisle and Kali’s dance with her grandfather….so many sweet tears).  The policeman we met at the apartments at YSU was hysterical and very cooperative!  (see below)  🙂  I hope you enjoy checking out their images as much as we enjoyed capturing them.  Thank you, also, to Julia for interning with me for part of the day.  She did a great job!

Kali and Bryan – I can’t thank you enough for being so sweet.  I’m so glad you have chosen me to capture not only your wedding, but your future life changing events as well and I can’t wait.  🙂

A few weeks ago, Angie and I met up with another super sweet couple of mine – Carri & Roy, for their park session.  They told me that they loved the water, so we did a few overlooking Glacier Lake, but then I took them down by The Lily Pond.  Wow, those geese are persistent!  They followed us all around the pond and although there are signs up that say “do not feed wildlife” – I’m pretty sure somebody is feeding these guys and they were pretty sure that we might, too.  They were starting to freak Carri out (okay, I’ll admit they were freaking me out, too).  🙂

Can’t wait for the wedding, which is coming up quick!

I have been dying to blog this one, but have been struggling with updating the site and the blog all at the same time.  Yes, I am still working on my site update.  It is mostly complete and I should be there soon (fingers crossed).

I was really excited for this session.  I knew it was going to be amazing.  Angie (Maizie’s mom) has such an eye for styling, she should definitely be getting paid for it and seriously, if you are thinking of having a stylized engagement or any other type of session – you should consider hiring her.  She is, in fact, working along side of me as one of my wedding assistants this year and I’m really excited about that, too!  But back to the session, Angie had some really great ideas and an endless supply of cool props.  Maizie is gorgeous and should be a model, so it was quite easy to see how this was going to go….

I can’t wait to photograph Angie’s girls, again!  Always gorgeous and fun!!  Thanks so much, Maizie & Angie!

Deanna was in love with the idea of romantic pictures on the Cinderella Bridge, so that’s where we started when we met for their engagement session.  We ended up by the old furnace near Pioneer Pavilion and they suggested that they climb in (which I thought was pretty awesome).  You gotta love how cute these two are.  And they are so sweet together.  I can’t wait for their Spring wedding!  🙂

What can I say about Ciara & Brian….aside from the obvious – being that they’re in love – they make each other laugh and they had me laughing with them.  There will be so many familiar faces at their wedding (I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately) and these two are up for anything…so how can their wedding day be anything other than awesome!!  Check out their engagement session – they were pros.  🙂
