On Sunday, Angie and I got to take a ride out to Pittsburgh (one of our most fav places to be!) to meet up with Casey & Matt.  Casey and I tried to meet face to face on Facetime somewhat unsuccessfully (the phone ended up being easier), but while we met long distance – I could tell right away that she was someone I wanted to work with.  Finally getting to meet them both in person, I know that we’re going to have a lot of fun on their wedding day.  🙂

We decided to start on top of Mount Washington that morning and ended in the theater district.  I really do love this city (and these two are awesome!).  And after a full morning of shooting, Angie and I ended the day at Primanti Bros = yum.

See you two, again, this summer!  Can’t wait!

It was rainy, it was cold, but still awesome.  I feel like I talk about the weather so much, but it really sets the tone for the session and to be a professional, you really have to learn to shoot in all kinds of situations.  Sometimes it’s impossible for someone to reschedule especially if they live out of town and, obviously, the wedding day is going to happen whether it’s cloudy, rainy, snowy…whatever! – and so you go with it, whatever it may be.

Brittany & Tyler were so sweet and put up with the drizzly rain we got that day.  We got to shoot on Brittany’s grandparents’ gorgeous property and we even got to use Tyler’s antique truck before the rain started coming down.  I’m really looking forward to their wedding (which will be here very soon!)  🙂

One last senior for now!  The beautiful Allie!  As I said before, new locations are my absolute fav.  It’s like a clean canvas.  We went to Buhl Park, but then we headed to Mercer for something totally different.  I’m trying so hard to remember what the location was called.  I do know it was an old canal of some sort from ages ago.  The old metal bridge that was there was also very cool.  Here is the lovely Allie!  🙂

Another adorable little guy that came back for his One-year-old session was this cutie!  He wasn’t feeling the greatest that day, if I recall, but what a trooper.  He and his parents are awesome.  I love watching my couples’ families grow…I shot his mom and dad’s wedding over 5 years ago.  🙂

He wore the Steelers jersey at his newborn session, too!

This little guy’s shirt might say “number 1”, but thanks to my delayed blogging abilities – he’ll actually be coming in for number 2 pretty soon.  I’ve been photographing him since he was inside his mama’s belly and he is one of my absolute favorites (and my daughter’s, too – she loves helping with his sessions).  Here are some memories from last year!
