Ashley & Matt – I can’t say enough good things about these two!  From the time that Ashley and Matt’s mom came to see me at the studio (thank you, Chrissy, for referring them), I knew I wanted to be their photographer and, thankfully – they felt the same!  🙂  What a beautiful wedding with such gorgeous details, the best hashtags ever (#ijustgotgroped, #gropefest2015 – their last name, in case you’re wondering…lol), the best favors ever (Stone Fruit Coffee!)and awesome friends!  We had such a blast with you all (especially in the photo booth later that day!)

I found out recently that Ashley’s Rock the Dress session is going to be a maternity session instead!  So I want to wish them a huge congratulations!  I couldn’t be happier for you both!!  You’re going to be the best parents!  Stay tuned to the blog for more of Ashley & Matt and their growing family.  😉

Emilee & Matt’s wedding is going to be here before you know it, so on the day of their bridal shower – we, also, set out to do their engagement at Youngstown’s gorgeous Mill Creek Park!  We weren’t sure if the weather was going to cooperate at first, but even with the off and on sprinkles – it ended up being beautiful.  We started out in the flower garden.  At the last minute, Matt suggested Bear’s Den for their 2nd location and wow! – what a gorgeous spot.  Still high-fiving Matt for that one – amazing.  Here are some of my favorites!

Meghan & Brian are such a beautiful couple, both inside and out!  They were married in the Fall at B&O Station – ceremony to reception – I’ve never had the chance to do both there.  It was perfect!  Even when the weather decided not to cooperate with the outdoor wedding, the set up inside was so pretty (great job, as alway, Amy Komara)!  We had such an amazing time with them and their family & friends!  Lots of beauty and lots of laughter.  🙂

I may be partial when I say how beautiful a couple these two are (after all, Chrissy is my cousin 🙂 ), but seriously, though – how cute are they?!  We had such an awesome time celebrating with them on their wedding day!  Drake’s Landing was perfect and DJ Branden Morales kept the party rolling all night!  A highlight for me was watching little 6-year-old Macey (her flower girl) teach everyone perfectly how to whip and nay nay…lol.

It’s been a few times now that I’ve had some distant cousins choose me to capture their day.  One of the cool things about it is, I probably wouldn’t have been invited.  I mean, we have really big families and you just can’t invite everyone, so I get that – but I end up being there and seeing family I don’t always get to see.  I’ve become closer with Chrissy over the planning period and got to know her and Joe better than I would have otherwise!  So, yeah, I pretty much love my job in every way – including (and maybe, especially) weddings like these.  Thank you so much, Chrissy & Joe, for allowing me to be a part of it!!  Every minute I got to hang out with you two was awesome!  🙂

Not the first time I’ve had the chance to work with Danielle and her wonderful family (I was the photographer at her sister’s wedding a few years before!).  🙂  I love going into the day excited that so many people will be there that I already know!  And John’s family was equally as awesome.  As I sit here catching up on my blog, I can’t help but smile when I go through their pictures.  So much gorgeousness and such a great day!
