I love Kennywood Park!!  So how fun when Jessie & Matt decided that they wanted to go here for their Engagement Session!  🙂  Rides, cotton candy and lots of lights when the sun went down.  Jessie and Matt were up for anything!  Seriously, so fun – I can’t wait to go back this summer for the day!!  Their wedding is going to be in the Fall and I’m sure it will be as sweet and as fun as their engagement session was.  Really looking forward to it!  🙂

My poor blog has been sooo neglected.  I blame it on battery recharge…my own (not my computer’s).  🙂  But no more excuses…Spring seems to finally be springing and with that – wedding season is about to begin!  Kelly & Chris’ wedding will be my first of 2012 and I’m excited!  They’re a very sweet couple and they chose a gorgeous venue to wed at.  Succop Conservancy has amazing grounds and an over 100-year-old mansion.  It has definitely been one of my favorite spots in the past.

We met up on a very rainy day in Pittsburgh to shoot their engagement and as we wandered along the north shore and through the theater district, I got to see just how sweet they are with each other.  Here are some of my favorites!  See you two, again, soon!  🙂

Newborn Photography is something that I am finding myself doing more and more of lately…oh, and loving it, by the way.  How can you not?  Adorable little faces, tiny little fingers and toes, those cute little baby cheeks…so much sweetness to photograph.   This little guy was no exception.  Such a handsome little fellow.  Check out Baby B and his sweet family.  🙂

I find it funny that every single newborn I photographed so far has been a boy (although, I’ve finally got a little girl on the schedule – but you’ll have to wait til Spring for that one!).

I loved all of the detail and work (the umbrella dance was great!) that went into Erica & Mike’s wedding.  It was absolutely gorgeous and a photographer’s dream!  Check out Erica’s dress – the bottom actually comes off to reveal a short party dress beneath it.  The coolest dress ever.  Oh, if I could do it all over, again…so many ideas from all of my awesome couples.  I would have loved a dress like that and the birdcage veil she wore to go with it.  A special surprise is coming soon that involves their day that I am so excited about!!  I’ll reveal it in a couple of months when it goes to print (…did I say too much?) 🙂

The first look...

Both of these were David's shots! My assistant is becoming a total pro. 🙂

On a rainy day, it's good to come prepared!

Probably one of my favorite groomsmen shots ever...these guys rocked it.

Back to the Synagogue to get married!

Where they met in college, while living in the same apartment complex. 🙂

Heating things up on the Hot Metal Bridge.

Their choreographed opening dance was killer.

It’s impossible to fit in everything from the day into this short little video, but I tried! Be sure to take a few minutes to check it out.

Congratulations, Erica & Mike and thank you so much for submitting your images to Pittsburgh Magazine.  It was an honor to be there to document all of the joy of your day.  We had an awesome time with you and your friends.

It was a gorgeous (and hot) game day in the Burgh when I met up with Anastasia & Jim for their engagement session.  Had a great time walking around the shore with these two and getting to know them better.  I’m looking forward to their wedding next June!  Here are some of my favorite shots from their session.

The one on the right is my absolute fav from the day.

Caught this one as they were headed to the Pirates Game. They are so cute. 🙂
