Emilee & Matt’s wedding is going to be here before you know it, so on the day of their bridal shower – we, also, set out to do their engagement at Youngstown’s gorgeous Mill Creek Park!  We weren’t sure if the weather was going to cooperate at first, but even with the off and on sprinkles – it ended up being beautiful.  We started out in the flower garden.  At the last minute, Matt suggested Bear’s Den for their 2nd location and wow! – what a gorgeous spot.  Still high-fiving Matt for that one – amazing.  Here are some of my favorites!

Vacation in August was awesome!  Now that the weather is really getting chilly, it’s nice to sit back and think about the beach.  We spent it with my brother and his extended family and I got in a few sessions while we were down there!  First some fun stuff from our trip…

Not how I usually process, but this boardwalk pic was just begging for a vintage touch.

This candy shop smelled amazing!

David & Liv stopped to pose for me at Penny Lane Mall.

More candy apples. This time at Serendipity Restaurant.

David took this while Livy and I were on the dock.

and my nephews…you might remember William and James from this session last year.

Teddy Bear Picnic

My adorable nephews.

I'm one and I'm gorgeous!

Love the face his making in the one on the right and his hat is awesome. 🙂

The Arms Museum is where Brian proposed and proved to be a very romantic setting for their session.

One of my favorites from the day.

A friendly game of Trivial Pursuit...where I was warned that Brian always wins. 🙂

But today, they both win. 🙂

Collett is actually a senior from Wilmington Area High School (of which I am an alumni).  But even though she comes from the country, she’s a city girl through and through.  A total sweetheart and up for whatever I suggested, we really ended up with some amazing images.  I found out she is a huge Pirates fan, so we incorporated the stadium into our shoot and below are just a few of my favorites from the day.

Thanks so much, Collett!  I had a great time roaming through the city with you guys!

The past few weeks, I’ve had the opportunity of photographing some great seniors…from football players to a city girl, the best thing about these sessions is how unique they are to the individual.  Mike is a senior in Salem and an amazing athlete (I’ve been told).  So we headed to Reilly Field for a few shots in his jersey and then to the park for what I like to call the mom shots.  You know the guys…most want the “tough” shot, but mom is going to make them dress up for a few and why shouldn’t she.  It’s a parent’s last chance to get their child to take pictures the way they want them to look.  🙂  Both turned out great.  Thank you, Diana, for returning to me this year with your second graduating son.  It was a total pleasure!

The wall was painted white, so this worked out perfect!
