Since Tiffany & Eric live in Texas, we only got to spend one day together – their wedding day!  They were both so sweet to work with and what a unique and beautiful day it was.  The reception was catered by The Winking Lizard – backyard bbq style – yum!  Their friends were a blast and their sparkler send off…always a fav.  🙂

So this sweet & funny fireman, Andrew, married the very beautiful love of his life, Heather, last June and as they say – they lived happily ever after!  What a beautiful day they had.  I’m so happy we got to be a part of it.  From the ceremony, to the firetruck, to our stop at the classic Rips to the reception – such an amazing day and Angie and I had a blast.  Can I just add – the cookie table…huge and nom nom.

Thank you both for allowing us to capture your gorgeous nuptials!  Here are some of my favorites.  🙂

Josephine & Brandon’s day was full of family!  Everyone was there the morning of to help celebrate…aunts, uncles, cousins.  Complete with tons of cookies and loads of food, lots of smiles and this was just at the bride’s house.  The party continued throughout the day and night with formals at The Hoyt and a ton of dancing at The New Englander (with the help of the very awesome DJ Branden Morales).  It was beautiful and an absolute blast!

If you ever met me or my assistant, Angie, or saw us on the day of the wedding – you know how easily caught up in the emotion of it all we are.  The moment tears came to Brian’s eyes as he read Caitlin’s card the morning of the wedding, we were done for.  They were both so incredibly happy and excited to be taking their vows to each other that day, it wasn’t hard at all to get the feels (is that how the new saying goes?…lol).

They continue to get me, as recently I received the sweetest thank you from them that also brought tears to my eyes.  I’m always committed to doing the absolute best job I can for my couples.  It’s an amazing feeling to hear from them that I was able to capture all those emotions and hold them in an image for them forever.  🙂  (PS – If I could plan my wedding all over, again, I would have it at The Butler…wow.)

I remember meeting with Ashley and her mom to talk about her & Greg’s wedding and even though at that point it was a couple of years away, I knew it would be fabulous.  Fast forward – it totally was!  Pink glittery macaroons, gold sugared glasses…  Her sweet grandma (who had recently passed away) was very missed that day, but Ashley had a piece of her favorite shirt sewn right next to her heart.  🙂

What is the greatest thing about being a wedding photographer?  I get asked this a lot, in different forms (why do you love it? what’s your favorite thing about it?).  It’s definitely the people!  The friends I’ve made along the way, the brides who’ve become my personal cheerleaders, the moms and dads who’ve shared their tears of joy with me.  It’s like that sometimes.  You plan weddings together and give lots of advice, a few photo sessions and a sister’s wedding later and all of sudden you have become old friends and I love that Ashley and her family have become like that.  🙂
